1. Thunderstorms with hail are possible Thursday afternoon and evening from the Edmonton area on southeast.
2. Heaviest snow will fall from the Jasper National Park. area on north to just south of Grand Prairie and west toward the Chetwynd/Dawson Creek regions. Snow levels will rapidly drop during Thursday and Thursday night and will eventually get below the 3,000 foot level Thursday night.
3. A general 15-30 cm of snow with localized amounts to 40 cm is possible over the higher terrain of Jasper N.P and up through the higher elevations south of Grand Prairie and south of Dawson Creek.
4. Bulk of rain will unfortunately miss Fort McMurray area, but there is the potential for a general 5-8 mm of rain Friday and Friday night.
5. Flash flooding is possible over the foothills of western/northwestern Alberta Wednesday night/Thursday before it changes to snow.

Drive safe!!
